Best Witches

This was a layout I completed earlier this year using Scrapping Bug Designs paper piecings from Best Witches, Witch in Cauldron, and Hocus Pocus.  I made tights on the little flying witch to more closely match the tights that my toddler wore as a part of her witch costume last year.  It was a big deal to my daughters last year that we all three dressed up as witches.  The ric rack across the top of the pages is from the neck of her dress and her witch hat.  I was so glad that I'd waited to scrap the photos, because the paper piecings were a perfect match to bring the layout to life.

Pumpkin Patch

Another fall layout featuring Scrapping Bug Designs.  I used the Pumpkin Patch piecing file and a title that I created in Sure Cuts a Lot.   The bears were used at 100% and were larger than I thought they would be, so only 1/2 of them were used in this layout.  I used some papers that I purchased in a fall stack at Joann's and Michaels.  Watch out, these pumpkins are addicting!  I've now used them in layouts, cards, and paper bag albums.

Halloween Box

Here's a fun, easy, Halloween box made from a free file from Lori Whitlock on her blog and Scrapping Bug Designs No Tricks Just Treats file pieces.  I enlarged the box pattern to as large as would fit on a 12x12 cutting mat which was just about 150% of the original.  The spider web is actually cut out of the lid.  The paper piecing title and pumpkins were down sized and the spiders were enlarged.  The paper is from a seasonal paper pack that I picked up at JoAnns a few weeks ago.  This will make a good "You've Been Boo'd" gift box for one of my co-workers later on this month.
