Smile

  1. This is a new layout created from a Becky Fleck sketch for the September guest designer competition for Back Porch
  2. Memories.  I used papers from the My Minds Eye Sweetest Things Collection along with a few other embellishments and a custom created title .  I've it's nice to get back to scrapbooking again after a summer break from it.a

Autumn Play

It was fun stepping away from the paper piecing and working on a more traditional layout with more pre-made embellishments.  I love fall colors too!  I'll add a little more journaling later on. The wood paper is from Simple Stories, and the rest of the embellies and papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle.  The title was created using one of my fonts in Silhouette Studio.  The upper left banners have an Epiphany button shape to give a little more dimension to the layout.

Bunny Box

This was a fun box I made for a small gift for a friend.

Happy Campers

This is the July paper piecing layout for Sugar and Spice Scrapbook Co.  The class will be July 30, 2013 at 6:30.  This layout features paper piecings from Scrapping Bug Designs:  It's the Little Things and Happy Campers.  All of the mats are 4x6" and three of them have pull out hidden photos/journaling spots behind them.  I'm looking forward to making some more camping pages with this new We R Memory Keepers Happy Camper paper line.

Heritage Layout: Ranch Life

Lately I've been missing my Grandma and Grandad Zediker.  I guess that's because I just celebrated my birthday and missed the cake that my grandmother always made for me.  This is a layout I made to document a little about their long ranching history and our family roots.  My biggest regret for my daughters is that they will never get to spend time with their grandparents and great grandparents like I did growing up since most all of them have passed on.

It's Birthday Party Time

Happy Birthday Scrapping Bug Designs.

I made this t-shirt using the print and cut feature on my Cameo for my daughter to wear.  I designed the shirt and then printed it on transfer paper right in my photo printer.  My daughter loves telling everyone she's 4 now!  The invitation and cupcake toppers were also made using the print and cut feature on my Cameo since crafty time is so hard to squeeze in with working full time.  The party hat and cupcake stand were made with traditional paper piecings.  You can't have a birthday without cupcakes....and making them is the best part.  My daughter and I made the cupcakes together and yes, I did let her lick the beaters just like my mom let me when I was little.  What's more girly than pink and sprinkles, butterflies and unicorns?

Scroll down for some more pictures of this birthday set from the "Happy Spring" collection from Scrapping Bug Designs.

Birthday Bash

This layout was made from the "Birthday Bash" paper piecing set from Scrapping Bug Designs.  This set was so big, that some of the presents, a slice of cake and two bears didn't even make it on this layout!
