Elfin Tradition

This is a layout to commemorate a tradition that my grandmother had of putting an elf on the tree for every grandchild and great grandchild.  I used the Scrapping Bug Designs "All Wrapped Up" and "Tree Farm" files.  The title is one that I made myself using SCAL and a tree from the Tree Farm file.  I added stickles for a little sparkle.  Last year, my daughter came home from her Christmas program and moved a stool in front of the Christmas tree to play on.  Thank goodness I had my camera handy to catch the cute, playful moment.  I couldn't believe this shot that I got with her elf so perfectly behind her.  I'd been saving it to scrap, and the elf file from SBD was just the motivation that I needed.  It's great to scrap such a meaningful page to pass on to my daughter so she will know the story of her elf.
